Let's Talk Safety

Farm Rules & Safety Guidelines

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone—both two-legged and four-legged—we ask all visitors to follow these rules while on the farm:

  1. Children must be supervised at all times.
Parents and guardians are responsible for their children’s safety and behavior.

  2. Do not enter animal enclosures unless invited.
Animals may react unpredictably to sudden movements, loud noises, or unfamiliar people.

  3. No running, chasing animals, or rough play.
This helps keep both visitors and animals safe and calm.

  4. Follow staff instructions at all times.
Our team is trained to ensure safety and animal well-being.

  5. Do not feed animals without permission.
Certain foods can be harmful, even if they seem safe.

  6. Respect animals’ space and signals.
Not all animals enjoy being touched; please approach calmly and gently.

  7. Stay within designated visitor areas.
Restricted areas are marked for safety reasons.

  8. No smoking or alcohol on the farm.

  9. Please clean up after yourself.
Help us keep the farm safe, clean, and welcoming.

  10. Any unsafe behavior may result in removal from the property.
This ensures the safety of all guests, staff, and animals.

Suggested Attire & Helpful Tips

While not required, the following suggestions will help make your visit safer and more comfortable:

  • Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.
Farms have uneven ground, mud, and curious animals.

  • Dress for the farm, not for fashion.
Please avoid your “Sunday best”—clothes may get dirty.

  • Secure jewelry, phones, and loose items.
Animals are naturally curious and may grab or chew shiny objects.

  • Tie back long hair and avoid loose clothing.

  • Check the weather and dress accordingly.
Sunscreen, hats, and layers are encouraged.

  • Leave valuables at home or securely stored.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

  • Wash hands after animal interaction.
Handwashing stations or sanitizer will be available.
